This is an article that contains completely baseless allegations against LUMS for which the author provides absolutely no evidence. It is truly saddening to witness the name of LUMS being tarnished like this. It is an institution that has upheld the finest standards for a long time and journalistic ethics demands that at least such reports be confirmed with the institution in question before it is published. The author has apparently mistaken the content of an articles published a few days back regarding a test that LUMS conducts for the ministry of commerce, NOT for admission into LUMS. The Ministry exempted some candidates from that test which does not put LUMS at fault at all. It was not for admission into LUMS.
i am a lums student . and i know that lums admission process is extremely fair . haqqani didnt provide any evidence what so ever to support his claim , rather he informed us more about his daughter than giving concrete evidence to support his baseless claim about lums. we, at lums, are extremely hurt and angered by this article. it is such a shame that a newspaper like jang can publish such an article which is extremely incoherent and unauthentic. we are urging the lums administration to take legal action against those involved in this propaganda against lums
i read this article by chance, sorry to say but this does not seem to be written by a veteran journalist. this has got neither head nor feet. i dont understand that why instead of providing any logical fact, the author is telling about the flight. oooh ridiculous inddeed.
